Masters medals for Inishowen AC and Finn Valley AC at National Road Relays

The Inishowen AC team who won silver on Sunday.

Inishowen AC and Finn Valley AC returned medals from the National Road Relay Championships in Dublin.

Inishowen AC won silver in the 50+ Masters Men with Finn Valley AC taking bronze in the 50+ Masters Women.

Inishowen AC were pipped to gold by City of Derry Spartans.

Martin McLucas, Pauric McKinney and Liam Bradley teamed up to bring silver back to Inishowen.

McLucas began with a 5:23 first leg before handing over to McKinney for the longer second leg and he hit 10:48 with Liam Bradley's 5:10 final leg sealed the silvers.

Finn Valley AC's Catriona Devine, Kay Byrne and Ita Kelly combined for bronze, going a combined 25:18.

They were edged out of the first two podium spots by Raheny Shamrocks, the hosts, and Ennis Track.

Devine set Finn Valley off with a 5:44 opening leg with Byrne keeping them in contention clocking 13:08 over the second, longer leg and Kelly helped to seal her own first national nugget when going 6:26 over the third leg.
