Convoy Boxing Club's Kerry Brown lost out in a National Senior Cadet final on Saturday.
Brown was beaten by Gorey's four-time Irish champion Kayleigh Byrne in the 57kgs decider at the National Stadium.
Byrne earned a unanimous decision victory, taking the clean sweep on the scorecards.
Brown was bidding to become the second Convoy woman to win an Irish title this year after Isabella Iwanek won the Girl 1 55kgs title.
Byrne defeated Anjolie Maughan of Whitechurch in her semi-final in Dublin, but Byrne proved too strong.
In her semi-final, Byrne took a split decision win against Cork's Donna McCarthy.
