The Irish Amputee team got their EAFF European Championships off to a great start on Sunday with a 1-0 win over Azerbaijan in Annecy, France. 

Dungloe’s James Boyle started up front for his country and a first-half goal from Kevan O’Rourke was enough to secure the Irish team victory. Ireland also have group games against Turkey and Israel to look forward to.
