Eight-year-old McElhinney, from Manorcunningham, crossed the line fourth in Heat 1, first in Heat 2,  second in Heat 3 and, in the final, took third place

Eight-year-old Jayden McElhinney was again to the fore at the Ulster Karting Club Championship held at the weekend at Nutts Corner. 

McElhinney, from Manorcunningham, crossed the line fourth in Heat 1, first in Heat 2,  second in Heat 3 and, in the final, took third place. 

In tricky racing conditions, this was a fantastic result for the young pilot as he grabbed a podium finish.
