Katie-George Dunlevy won the eighth Paralympic medal of her career and her third of the Paris Games with silver in the Women's B road race on Friday.
Dunlevy, pilotyed by Linda Kelly, finished in 2:37.29, beaten to the gold by Great Britain's Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl.
Unwin and Holl won in 2:37.26 – just three seconds ahead of Dunlevy and Kelly.
The Irish and British crews were neck-and-neck throughout the 99.4km course in Clichy-Sous-Bois, but Unwin and Holly made the decisive push over the final 1k. In the sprint for the line, Unwin drove for the golden moment.
The 42-year-old Dunlevy leaves Paris with three medals: Gold in the time trial; and silvers in the road race and 3000m individual pursuit.
Dunlevy, whose father John is a native of Mountcharles, won gold in the time trial with Kelly on Wednesday, finishing in 38:16.58.
At the last edition of the Paralympics in Tokyo, Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal won the road race, but the Great Britain tandem came with the perfect tactics to snatch gold.
In Paris, Dunlevy and McCrystal won silver in the B 3000m individual pursuit. That race at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome represented their last ever race together and the silver medal was their six Paralympic medal together.
In the men's road race, held over 127.8 kilometres, Drumkeen's Mitchell McLaughlin piloted Damien Vereker to eighth spot, the pair finishing in 3:04.18.

On Wednesday, McLaughlin and Vereker were seventh in the men's B individual time trial, fniishing in 36:31.09.
The previous week, the pair set a new national record of 4:14.817 on the track when competing in the men's B 4000m individual pursuit.
In the 1000m time trial, McLaughlin and Vereker were 10th in 1:06.740.
