Inishowen karate team to represent Ireland at European Championships

Karate members from the Ulster Karate-Do Federation in Inishowen who are set to take part in the WUKF European Karate Championships

Karate members from the Ulster Karate-Do Federation in Inishowen are preparing to represent Ireland at the 14th WUKF European Karate Championships in Pruszków, Warsaw, Poland.

The event, which begins on Wednesday and runs through to Sunday, promises to be an exhilarating display of skill and competition.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Martin McCole, the Inishowen team features a blend of seasoned athletes and emerging talent. Those set to compete include Patrick Moynihan, Joe McDaid, Eamonn Doherty, Erin McCole, Fabi d’Almeida, Aine McCole, Harry McDaid, and Killian Doherty.

Joining the team are local WUKF referees, Sensei Denis Donaghy (5th Dan) and Sensei Columba McLaughlin (6th Dan), who will be officiating throughout the championships.
