Eamonn Kelly triumphs at San Remo, marking his first competition against his father

The Donegal driver claimed first place in the iconic Italian rally, with his father, Donagh Kelly, finishing strong in sixth

Eamonn Kelly was successful in Italy on Sunday

Frosses man Eamonn Kelly, along with co-driver Gordon Noble, claimed victory in Italy on Sunday at the renowned Rally San Remo.

This historic race, part of the European Historic Rally Championship, has been a staple since 1928.

Kelly secured first place, finishing ahead of Lubiak Maciej, who took second, and Erdi Tibor, who completed the podium in third.

This particular event held special significance for Kelly, as it marked the first time he competed alongside his father, Donagh Kelly, in the same rally. Donagh Kelly also performed well, securing a respectable 6th place overall.
