Teenager Brody Ferry made sure the long terk to Kerry was worthwhile as the young Letterkenny jockey onboard ‘Big Jim’ claimed the Ballyheigue Derby

The tricky two-mile course was well navigated by 14-year-old Ferry who had to starve off competition of Cillian’s Pride by a length at the line.
