Donegal quartet set to begin quest for National Youth titles

Donegal boxers have learned their fate for the 2025 National Youth Competition.

Caoimhin Connolly (Twin Towns), Kieran Cunningham (Carndonagh), Luke Kelly (Dunfanaghy) and David Tennyson (Derryveagh) are all in the mix.

In the 48kgs division, Connolly is through to the semi-final having bene given a bye. There, he will meet Thomas Joyce (Angels) or Rico McInerney (Portlaoise).

Kelly and Tennyson are on a possible collision course at 63.5kgs with both in the same side of the draw.

Kelly and Tennyson have both been given advances to the second preliminary round and are due to be in action at the National Stadium this Saturday.

Kelly will face Des Sweeney (Olympic) with Tennyson up against Louis Griffin (Portlaoise).

Later on Saturday, in a 75kgs quarter-final, Cunningham squares up to Reuben Aigbologo (Mayfield).
