Oisin and Oscar McShane
Donegal participants again impressed at the Rally Sport Association event in Aghadowey, Derry, with brothers Oscar and Oisin McShane taking an impressive first and second.
The Illistrin pair were nip and tuck throughout the day with Oisin finishing first in class with younger brother Oscar in second place - only 30 seconds behind the current J1000 forestry champion.
Robbie Stewart also travelled up with the trusty Aygo where he finished fifth in Class 1.
Jamie McLaughlin moved to Class 3 in his new Micra where he set a blistering time on SS1, second fastest rally car overall. Unfortunately, issues on two stages put an end to his hopes of a podium finish.
Conor Halvey had a good steady run in the slippy conditions to claim third in Class 3 after the six stages affair.
In the ever quick buggy section, LaBase buggy agent Declan McShane took his SX01 home in second place in Class 15.
Jayden McBrearty took the honours in the Junior Mini Cup with Daithi Kennedy in third. Eunan Kennedy settled for third in the Mini Cup at the end of a great day’s racing.
