Donegal Surf Lifesaving Club had a fantastic weekend at the All-Ireland Surf Lifesaving Stillwater Championships, held at the University of Limerick.

A 22-strong team of juniors, seniors, and masters swimmers represented the county, competing against Ireland’s best lifeguards in high-intensity races that showcased their lifesaving skills.

The team returned home with several personal bests and a collection of medals.

Alan Vaughan (Ballyshannon) claimed two silver medals in the Rescue Medley and 100m Manikin Tow. Declan Sharkey (Glenties) and Jack Bond (Ramelton) secured silver in the Line Throw event.
