Finn Valley AC’s Noreen Bonner was part of an Irish team that has just clocked a new World W65 record in Dublin

Finn Valley AC's Noreen Bonner has once again etched her name into the annals of masters athletics by contributing to a new World W65 4x400m relay record.

The Irish quartet, comprising Bonner, Mary Browne, Mary Jennings, and Nuala Reilly, recorded a time of 6:40.91 at the Track and Field Live meet held at the National Indoor Arena in Dublin.

This remarkable feat marks their second world record within a fortnight.

Just two weeks prior, the same team shattered the W65 4x800m relay world record, underscoring their exceptional synergy and athleticism.

Bonner, a stalwart of Finn Valley AC, has a storied career in masters athletics. In 2020, she was rightfully inducted into the Finn Valley AC Hall of Fame, recognising her significant contributions and achievements in the sport.
