Donegal's Jayden McElhinney
Rising karting star Jayden McElhinney has confirmed that he will compete in the prestigious All-Ireland Rotax MAX Challenge 2025, entering the competition in the Micro MAX class.
The announcement comes on the back of an impressive year for the young driver from Manorcunningham, with notable achievements including a third-place finish in the 2024 UKC Championship, as well as being recognised as the best rookie and for delivering the best cadet drive of the season.
McElhinney's performance in 2024 earned him widespread recognition in the karting world, and the 2025 season promises to be another exciting chapter in his promising career.
Hailing from Manorcunningham, McElhinney's passion for karting began in 2023, and within a short time, he has established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in Irish motorsport. His achievements on the track include not only his success in the UKC but also standout performances in his first overseas race at Whilton Mill in Daventry in February 2025, where he secured fourth place and posted the second-fastest lap time in the final.
