Four members of the Loughros Point Rowing Club have been named in the Ireland squad that will compete at the 2025 Coupe Beach Sprint Regatta next month.
Oisín Mooney, Brendan Shaw and Erika Morrow have all been named as competing athletes, while Shaun Molloy will be the Team Manager for the event taking place from October 30 to November 2 in La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, Spain.
The Coupe Beach Sprint brings together Europe’s rising stars in coastal rowing, testing their speed, skill, and agility on both land and water.
This international event will see top junior athletes from across Europe compete in the exciting and fast-paced format of Beach Sprint Rowing.
It’s a brilliant achievement for the club, who will be the best represented club on the Ireland team.
And they were delighted to share their excitement about the news.
“Loughros Point Rowing Club is immensely proud to announce that Oisín, Erika, and Brendan have been selected to represent Ireland at the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint Regatta.
