Donegal medallists at the National Still Water Championships
The Donegal Surf Lifesaving Team came back from the National Junior, Senior & Masters Still Water Championships in Limerick last weekend with a host of medals.
Across two action-packed days of racing, the Donegal athletes showed incredible skill, determination and team spirit while representing the club with pride.
Shaun Robinson won silver in the Men’s 40-49 100m Manikin Tow, missing out on gold by 0.7 of a second to Ken Grant, while he also took bronze in the 50m Manikin Carry, with Grant again winning gold and John McShane taking silver.
Martin Egan won bronze in the 60+ 100m Manikin Tow, and he paired up with Robinson to win silver in the 30+ Relay Line Throw.
Alan Vaughan took bronze in the Men's 50m mankin carry with a time of 33.27.

Meabh Gilligan and Ava Doherty won silver in the Women's 25 LC Meter Relay line throw.
Harry Reeves and Eunan Colgan teamed up for bronze in the Boys 14-18 25 LC Meter Relay line throw.
A spokesperson for the Donegal Branch of Water Safety Ireland said: “A huge well done to every single member who took part - your hand work and commitment truly paid off. A very special congratulations to our medal winners!
