Joshua Magee and Moya Ryan at the European Championships
Raphoe’s Joshua Magee and Moya Ryan exited the mixed doubles at the European Badminton Championships in the round of 32.
Magee, of Raphoe Badminton Club, and Ryan, lost out to Ondřej Král and Tereza Šváníková.
In a competitive contest at the Carolina Marin Sports Palace in Huelva, Spain, the Czechia pair came out on top against the Irish number one pair 21-15 21-17.
Král and Šváníková subsequently lost 21-12 21-11 to sixth seeds Rasmussen Espersen and Amalie Cecilie Kudsk in the round of 16.
