Donegal jockey in third place in Cheltenham race

Donegal jockey Conor Orr rode Colonel Mustard to third place in the McCoy Contractors County Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham this afternoon.

Orr’s mount was a 13/2 shot and came in behind the winner, the 11/4 favourite State Man, trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, and second placed First Street, who was a 16/1 shot.

Colonel Mustard, trained by Lorna Fowler, was just three lengths off the winner in a tight finish to the Grade 3 race.
