Brendan Boyce delivered another big Championship performance to finish tenth at the European Athletics Championships on Tuesday morning.
The Finn Valley AC man made up ten places in the latter half of the men's 35k race walk.
Boyce finished in 2:38.03 to get into the top ten.
Last month in Oregon, Boyce was 25th at the World Championships when going 2:33.31.
After 20k, Boyce was 18th and he powered up the board over the final 15k to finish 10th.
A three-time Olympian, the Milford man's favoured 50k distance was scrapped after last year's Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Miguel Angel Lopez of Spain won Tuesday's race in 2:26.49 with German Christopher Linke claiming silver and Matteo Giupponi leaving with the bronze.

English goes in the men's 800m heats with Eilish Flanagan in the 3000m steeplechase heats and Roisin Flanagan is in the 5000m final.
