Letterkenny jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle was back in the winners’ enclosure on Wednesday evening in Cork.
Browne-McMonagle took Born Invincible to victory in the Mallow Handicap.
Aboard the Gerard O’Leary-trained mount, Browne-McMonagle won by a length from 10/1 chance Rose Of Malta.
Born Invincible, revelling in the conditions, edged ahead of Rose Of Malta and the 7/2 favourite kicked for home in the final furlong.
The win was Browne-McMonagle’s 33rd of 2022.
Luke McAteer rode a 14/1 winner on Tuesday evening at Galway. On the Jack Davison-prepared Gonetomillgrove, McAtreer won well in the Galway Apprentice Handicap.
He Rathmullan man was nudged to the fire two furlongs out and was the clear victory, having over two lengths on Komedy Kicks (8/1).
