Raphoe badminton duo chosen for Swedish Youth Games

Raphoe Badminton Club's Corey Chambers and Amy Moore

Raphoe Badminton Club duo Corey Chambers and Amy Moore have been selected as part of an Irish team to compete at this year’s Swedish Youth Games.

Corey Chambers and Amy Moore will be part of the under-13 squad that will take part in the prestigious tournament.

Chambers was a bronze medalist at he 2021 Swedish Youth Games and will return looking for a podium place again

This will be Moore’s first Irish cap with the pair part of a high-performance group at the Raphoe club being led out by three-time Olympian Chloe Magee.

The 2022 Swedish Youth Games take place in Malmö from November 17-20.

Chambers was recently a gold medalist in the boys singles at the Under-13 English Gold Tournament in Huddersfield.

There, he overcame Joshua Tang 21-10 26-24 in the final.
