Kilmacrennan rider Richard Kerr claimed his second British Superbike Championship win of the season on Saturday.

In the Superstock class, Kerr took victory at Donington Park.

Kerr started on row two. After a good start, the Donegal an was circulating in fourth but as the race went on, he found the pace to challenge the championship contenders Davy Todd and Billy McCconnell.

Kerr fought hard and got to the front with a few laps to go.

A slight mistake going into the final corner saw him slip back to third position but the Kilmacrennan ace showed his class by getting to the front with a lap to go.

This was Kerr’s second win of the series, an outstanding performance which sees him move up to fourth in the championship.

Richard starts race two on the second row on Sunday.
