With Joanne Campbell strong in sixth and Bridgeen Dolan backing up in 11th, Finn Valley bagged the team honours ahead of Inishowen AC, who had good runs from Kirsty Downey in seventh, Sara Marie Doherty in eighth and a 12th-placed finish for Aileen Devlin.
There was some confusion at the end as to whether three or four scorers were counted in the women’s race before Ulster officials settled on the matter after some deliberation with Finn Valley first, Inishowen second and City of Derry Spartans third.
