Watch: Raphoe hit by flash flood that entered homes and tore up the road

Emergency services are at the scene of the flooding

Raphoe has been hit by damaging floods as a result of torrential rain.

Footage captured in the town shows flood  water flowing down the street, entering homes and tearing up the road surface. Emergency services are at the scene. 

It is understood that Castlefinn has also been hit by severe flooding.

Earlier on Saturday, Met Eireann issued a status yellow weather warning for Donegal, warning for a risk of localised flooding.
