Median asking price for a property in the county is now €200,000

Property prices in Donegal have risen by €5,000 during the second quarter to 2023, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report.

The latest report was carried out in association with Davy.

Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €20,000 over the period to €170,000. This means that prices in the segment have risen by €30,000 compared to this time last year.

Meanwhile, the asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in Donegal rose by €3,500 over the quarter to €198,500. This price is up by €16,000 compared to this time last year.

There were 219 properties for sale in Donegal at the end of Q2 2023 – a decrease of 5% over the quarter.

The average time for a property to go sale agreed in the county after being placed up for sale now stands at just over four and a half months.
