Sadhbh McGrath was a second-half substitute for Ireland as they clinic their first victory of the 2024 Women's Six Nations.
Ireland were 36-5 winners against Wales at Virgin Media Park in Cork, having lost out to France 38-17 at the Stade Marie-Marvingt in Le Mans and then 27-21 against Italy at the RDS.
However, against Wales, Aoife Wafer, Eve Higgins and Neve Jones crossed before the break for Ireland and then Katie Corrigan and Beibhinn Parsons added further tries in the second half. Gwennan Hopkins scored a late consolation try for Wales. Ireland play away to England at Twickenham on Saturday.
McGrath plays for Cooke RFC, hails from Burt and formerly played for City of Derry.
