The Royal and Prior Comprehensive School U-18 girls’ rugby team capped off an impressive season with a strong showing at the Ulster Schools' Rugby tournament, where the top 12 schools in the province competed for a place in the final at Kingspan Stadium.

Facing tough opposition, the Royal and Prior squad delivered a series of outstanding performances. Their journey saw them defeat Assumption and Omagh Academy in the preliminary rounds, showcasing skill and determination to progress to the quarter-finals.

In a closely fought contest against St Louis, the team put up a brave fight but ultimately bowed out of the competition. Despite the result, there was immense pride in their efforts and achievements throughout the season.

The day also provided an opportunity to catch up with Loreto Milford, with both teams taking time for a group photo to mark the occasion.

A special mention was given to Andrew Speer, whose coaching and support played a key role in the team’s success. The school expressed its appreciation for his dedication and guidance.
