Sadhbh McGrath is going to the Rugby World Cup with Ireland

Sadhbh McGrath has been selected for the Ireland squad ahead of the Rugby World Cup. 

And the Burt native is now looking forward to group games with Japan, Spain, and New Zealand, starting on August 24 in England.

Head coach Scott Bemand commented: "Qualifying for the Rugby World Cup in April 2024 gave us valuable time to prepare. 

“We've focused on building squad depth and strengthening our 'Green Wave.' Most of this group have trained together since early June, and we're eager to begin the tournament."

The squad consists of 18 forwards and 14 backs.
