Former Carndonagh FC player and coach Ronan Newman is part of the national Garda football side that is currently competing in the European Police Championships being held in Norway.
The Garda international side is made up of 20 of the force’s top players from across the island. Ronan and Ireland got off to a great start this week with a 3-1 defeat of hosts Norway on Wednesday.
