A moment's silence was impeccably observed at Finn Park on Friday night in memory of Donegal football stalwarts Kieran McGrath and Liam Haughey.
Finn Park fell silent before the Finn Harps v Bray Wanderers game in the First Division.
Both men, regular attenders at Finn Park, were well known in Donegal football circles through their involvement in Letterkenny Rovers and Bonagee United.
The two men died in tragic circumstances on Wednesday and were remembered by the big crowd in Ballybofey.
“Everyone at Finn Harps share the overwhelming sense of shock and grief at the tragic deaths of
Kieran McGrath and Liam Haughey,” Harps said in an earlier statement.
“They will be sorely missed at Finn Park and grounds around the county.”
Games in the Ulster Senior League, Donegal League and Donegal Underage League have been called off this weekend as a mark of respect.
All club activities at Letterkenny Rovers and Bonagee United have also been paused.
The funerals of both men will take place in Letterkenny this weekend.
