Four Donegal players are vying for inclusion in the Irish Down Syndrome Futsal team for the European Championships.

Daniel O’Reilly and Meg Carr from Letterkenny will be joined in the trials by Donegal Town’s David Crawford and Gweedore man Hughie Sweeney.

The quartet play with the Donegal Down Syndrome team, who train most Saturdays at the Aura Leisure Complex in Letterkenny.

Derry duo Adam Morrison and Teigan Taylor will also attend this weekend’s trial in Dublin.

The trials process is now down to the final 20. The Ireland management will then select their final squad for the Championships.
