The annual general meeting of the Ulster Football Association had to be postponed on Wednesday night due to a lack of a quorum.
The Ulster FA is the provincial association of the FAI and represents all strands of football, male and female, in the Donegal, Inishowen and Cavan-Monaghan areas.
Only 17 clubs showed up to Wednesday's AGM, which was due to take place at the Lake Of Shadows Hotel in Buncrana.
The failure to reach a quorum - which is half the eligible delegates plus one - meant that the meeting could not go ahead.
The Ulster FA is responsible for competitions like the Ulster Senior Cup, Ulster Junior Cup, Ulster Women's Cup and the Ulster Youth Cup.
Representatives from the various Leagues and the referees society sit on the Ulster FA committee.
Wednesday's meeting was due to come at a time when there is much uncertainty about the future of football at intermediate level in Donegal.
The meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.
