Finn Harps have confirmed the departures of Michael Harris, Cian Lynch and Oisin Farrell from the club by mutual consent.

Convoy native Harris came through the academy ranks at Derry City, scoring the winning penalty in the EA Sports Enda McGuill Cup Final in 202 before making the switch to Colorado Rapids in 2022. He signed for Harps on a two-year deal in January.

Dubliner Lynch was also contracted for two seasons, having come through the ranks at Cabinteely FC where he made his debut. He then made the move across the pond where he has competed in both the USL and NPSL with Lakeland Tropics, Erie Commodores, Calgary Foothills and Little Rock Rangers.

Lynch attended Cape Breton University in Canada, the #1 ranked team nationally where he helped the Capers to consecutive league championships.

Nineteen-year-old goalkeeper and Kilmacrennan native Farrell progressed through the Finn Harps Academy and was promoted to the senior squad in addition to playing for the Harps U19 side this year.

“The club would like to thank them for their professionalism and commitment to the club over the past six months and wish them every success in the future,” read a club statement.
