Keith Cowan has left Finn Harps.
Veteran defender Keith Cowan has left Finn Harps with the player this afternoon confirming the departure on his own social media account.
The Ramelton man was Dave Rogers’ first signing back in December, 2022. But with gametime limited in recent weeks Cowan has now decided to move on.
In a statement, Finn Harps said: “Keith and his wife Edel have recently welcomed their baby girl into the world and along with work commitments it has been agreed that his family must take priority. Thanks for everything Keith.”
Speaking on Twitter, Cowan explained: “Regrettably my spell second at Finn HarpsFC has come to an end. It has been a difficult decision, but one that has been made in the interest of both the team and myself.
“I did not want to give the role any less than it deserves. However, family and work commitments must take precedence at this time in my life.
“I would like to thank the gaffer, his staff, but most of all my teammates and wish them and the club every success in the future. Up the Harps.”
