Tyler Toland has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a two-year contract.
The St Johnston woman was at Spanish club Levante in the 2022/23 season, but has returned closer to home.
The 21-year-old midfielder is the first signing made by new Rovers manager Simon Parker.
Toland has penned a two-year deal at the Women’s Championship club.
Toland previously signed for Manchester City before having a loan spell at Glasgow City. After leaving Manchester City in 2021, she signed for Celtic, where the won the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup and Scottish Women’s Cup.
Toland has 13 caps for the Republic of Ireland having been the youngest ever debutant when featuring at just over 16 years of age against Northern Ireland in 2017.
Among those who will be featuring in the Women’s Championship are Ireland internationals Kyra Carusa at Londy City Lionesses and Birmingham City players Harriet Scott, Lucy Quinn, Louise Quinn and Jamie Finn.
