Dergview have confirmed the loan signing of Marc Walsh.

The Loughanure native's move was facilitated by Ballymena United to the side second from bottom of the NIFL Championship.

Previously on the books at Swansea City, Walsh came through the ranks at Gweedore Celtic.

Having spent some time at Finn Harps before moving to Swansea, Walsh was at Derry City for a time in 2021 before Dean Shiels brought him to Dungannon in January 2022. The 22-year-old is a former Republic of Ireland underage international and joined Ballymena in August of last year.

He joins Newtowncunningham native Ronan McKinley, who recently made the move from Kildrum Tigers to the Tyrone side, while Damian Duffy from Gleneely came in from Finn Harps, as did Gabriel Aduaka, who was on the books of Letterkenny Rovers and Finn Harps.

Glencolmcille's Shane O’Gara; Stephen Black of Kilmacrennan, Glenmaquin's Jack Parke, Gareth Harkin from Letterkenny; Keith Cowan, Ramelton; Keenan Diver from Killea, Gweedore's Patrick McGarvey; Josh Maxwell, who lined out for Bonagee United, and Dylan Doherty from Moville are among the fellow Donegal men with Dergview.
