Donegal Town were much too strong for Letterbarrow in the local derby in the Brian McCormick Cup at Tymeen.

The Town netted three times in each half and overall had it all their own way against a Letterbarrow side that are struggling for form.
The busiest man on the park in the opening 20 minutes was the Letterbarrow 'keeper Peadar Shallow.
Ian Campbell and Declan Duignan both brought saves from Shallow before the opening goal came on 10 minutes with Duignan providing the assist for Ben Sweeney to score.
Two minutes later after a Letterbarrow corner, Donegal broke at speed for Sweeney to bring a great save from Shallow but Declan Duignan following up had a simple score.
Glen Harron and Mark Jordan had shots saved while Caolan Loughney had a rare shot at the other end. The third Donegal Town goal was a little harsh on Letterbarrow as a free was awarded against them after a clash of heads. Mark Jordan found the corner of the net from the free kick on 33 minutes.
Before half-time Eoin McHugh and James McHugh had efforts for Letterbarrow while Oisin Gorrell powered a head over Shallow's goal.
Letterbarrow sent in three subs at half-time but they were hit with a fourth goal after eight minutes with Mark Jordon doing really well to fire home.
The game as a contest was over at that stage and Joe Campbell added a fifth on 68 minutes while David Graham wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minute.
Barry Burke tried valiantly for the losers in midfield with Eoin McHugh and Caolan Loughney also putting in big shifts, but as the league table shows Donegal Town at the top were just too strong for Letterbarrow, who are at the bottom of Division 1. There was to be no cup shock.
