Finn Harps gear up for pre-season friendly against Gleneely Colts next Wednesday

Preparations intensify as Ballybofey side faces pre-season challenge with striker Mark Mbuli returning to Finn Harps in their bid for to return to the Premier Division

Finn Harps will take on Gleneely Colts in a pre-season friendly this Wednesday in Glenview Park, kick-off at 7.30.

Darren Murphy's side have already played two matches this month, facing Derry City on both occasions, where they drew their first match at home 2-2, before losing out to the Brandywell side 2-0 last Friday.

This friendly will be followed with the Ballybofey based side hosting Sligo Rovers next Saturday in Finn Park before they commence their 2024 League of Ireland First Division campaign against Longford Town on February 17 at Strokestown Road.

These pre-season friendlies will no doubt help the club as they look to make it back to the Premier Division after being relegated in 2022, with the signing of striker Mark Mbuli from NIFL Championship league leaders Institute FC, no doubt helping the team.

The Ballybofey native began his career in the Finn Harps Academy and this season made 20 appearances for the Northern Ireland Championship side, scoring four goals.
