Jodie Loughrey and he Ireland Women's U-19 squad were greeted to a hero's welcome in Dublin Airport on Wednesday after returning home from Croatia where they qualified for the UEFA Women's European Championships for the first time since 2014. 

The Buncrana and Sligo Rovers star played her role for a full match in the starting XI as the Girls in Green overcame Austria 1-0 last Saturday to qualify for the Euros tournament in Lithuania. 

This is the second time that head coach Dave Connell has led a Women’s U-19 squad to a Euros. 

Ireland dominated this game in many ways and showed their quality when it mattered most. Ralph's goal on 50 minutes was a just reward for their positive approach.
