St Eunan’s College Letterkenny play in the FAI Schools Minor ‘A’ Boys U-15 All-Ireland final tomorrow, Wednesday.

Paul Browne’s team will face Moyle Park College from Clondalkin, Dublin, at Athlone Town AFC with kick-off at 12:30pm.

After a tail of two halves semi-final, St Eunan’s were in impressive form at Ray McSharry in Sligo against St Joseph’s Patrician College, Galway, to win on a 5-1 scoreline.

After a back-and-forth first half which ended a goal apiece, St Eunans took control of the second period, running away with Mark McGuinness scoring a hat-trick, while Shai Thompson and Davin Blake also netted.

St, Eunan’s second goal really helped their fans find their voice and flip the narrative of the game. They had great performances on both ends of the pitch in the semi-final, and it seems the longer their run goes on, the more belief they play with.

The Ulster crown was sealed with a 4-0 victory over Carndonagh Community School, with McGuinness having also bagged a treble, after Ryan Buckley’s opener. Beforehand, there was a 3-2 win over another Inishowen team, Scoil Mhuire, following on from a 7-3 result when faced the same team from Buncrana.

With diving saves, goal-line clearances and well-worked goals being almost a trademark of this side, Browne’s men should be going into the final knowing they are capable of a great performance.

However, title rivals Moyle are unbeaten in their last 17 games with 82 goals scored and only 13 conceded.

Moyle won their Leinster semi-final against Kingswood Community College of Dublin 3-2, before the Leinster final victory, 2-0 against Ardgillan Balbriggan in Leixlip United FC

Following their provincial success, Moyle defeated Munster champions Tralee CBS from Kerry 2-0 last Wednesday to progress to the final.

St Eunan’s squad: Cormac Crossan, Evan Duffy, Blake Merideth, Donal McBride, Jonah Cannon, Davin Kelly, Adam Rodgers, Finn Nolan, Ryan Buckley, Mark McGuinness, Shai Thompson, Zack Gallagher, Temple Akpo, Cathair Daly, Ryan Toye, Adam Dwyer, Max McKeever, Oisin Higgins, Matthew McGinley.
