Erin McLaughlin has signed for Portsmouth FC.
The Culdaff native has penned a one-year contract at Pompey with an option of an additional 12 months.
McLaughlin, a Republic of Ireland senior international, moves to Portsmouth after spendingthe last three seasons at Women's Premier Division outfit Peamount United.
Pompey play in the Women's Championship and manager Jay Sadler is delighted to get the Donegal woman on board.
“Erin’s consistently impressive performances for Peamount and Ireland, at such a young age, have understandably caught the eye of many a club,” Sadler said.
“She’s an excellent fit for the way we play, possessing strong technical ability, high pressing energy and a really good footballing brain.
“I am confident we have the perfect environment here to harness her undoubted potential, and we look forward to working closely with her.”
In 63 games at Peamount, McLaughlin scored 21 goals. Previously, she played for Culdaff and Sion Swifts.
