St Catherine's have promoted six teens to the senior ranks ahead of the new season
St Catherine’s boss Shaun Kelly has been busy adding to his squad ahead of the new Donegal League Premier Division season.
Returning to the club are Josh Maxwell and Alex Cunnea while the former League of Ireland star has also promoted a half dozen players from the Emerald Park’s Saturday outfit.
Maxwell rejoins the Killybegs club after a spell at Dergview in the Irish League while Cunnea returns having previously been part of the Finn Harps academy set-up.
Meanwhile, teenagers Elliott Byrne, Simon McHugh, Dillon Doherty, Noah Connors, Jack Moore and Cunnea all made their first senior appearances on the same day as the Saints defeated local rivals Dunkineely Celtic 3-2 in the Seamus McCallig Cup.
