Cappry Rovers celebrate adding more silverware after a great season for their U-14s
Cappry Rovers 5
Raphoe Town 3
Cappry Rovers U-14s just had a little too much for Raphoe Town in this exciting East/South U-14 Cup decider.
In a great game of football, Cappry raced into a 3-0 lead in the first-half with goals from Zach Carroll, David Campbell and Oisin McDermott.
The second-half started as the first ended with David Campbell getting his second and Cappry’s fourth.
To their credit, Raphoe never gave up and played some great football causing Cappry plenty of problems as they scored goals through Leon Bell, Charlie Vance and the goal of the game by Cliodhna Kelly.
In between, Raphoe’s second and third goals David Campbell got his hattrick and Cappry’s fifth.
It was a ‘player of the match’ performance from Campbell while there were good showings also from the likes of Harry McGlynn, Peter Gallagher and Josh Morrow.
All 20 Cappry players got game time. This now completes the treble for this team with a record of 18 wins and one draw in 19 competitive games this season.
