Tyler Toland played a central role as the Republic of Ireland women moved firmly towards the Euro 2025 play-off final.
The Girls in Green hammered Georgia 6-0 at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi in the opening leg of their joust.
The second leg on Tuesday at Tallaght Stadium is little more than a formality for Eileen Gleeson’s side.
St Johnston woman Toland, the Blackburn Rovers captain, played 75 minutes having been restored to the team.
Ireland made hard work of it and only a Katie McCabe penalty stood between the teams at the break.
McCabe added another in the second half while there were goals for Kyra Carusa, Jessie Stapleton, Marissa Sheva and Aoife Mannion.

Toland was one of the five changes made by Gleeson.
Also featuring was Aston Villa’s Anna Patten, who qualifies for Ireland through her maternal grandparents - Donald Coyle, a native of Falcarragh and Bridie Coyle, nee Conroy, who hailed from Lettermore in Galway. They are the parents of Anna's mother, Paula Coyle.
Patten went close with a header in the first half, but the 'keeper saved.
Milford woman Amber Barrett was an unused sub.
