Ronan Curtis scored his third goal of the season for Port Vale on Saturday, but his side bowed out of the FA Cup.
League Two leaders Port Vale lost 3-1 to League One outfit Barnsley at Vale Park.
St Johnston man Curtis, who moved to The Valiants after a spell at AFC Wimbledon, equalised on the half-hour after Marc Roberts put the visitors in front.
Curtis superbly finished past Barnsley ‘keeper Ben Killip, but goals by Davis Keillor-Dunn and Adam Phillips from the penalty spot saw Barnsley advance.

Curtis scored 57 goals in 226 appearances for Portsmouth after moving from Derry City.
Last season, the former Kildrum Tigers schoolboy scored five goals in 17 games for AFC Wimbledon.
