Keri Loughrey in action for Sligo Rovers earlier in the year
Buncrana native Keri Loughrey has been named Sligo Rovers' Player's Player of the Year, just 12 months after winning the Young Player of the Year award at the club.
The 19-year-old who played a total of 20 league games for the 'Bit O'Red this season, came through the underage ranks at Buncrana Hearts and played for the Donegal League WU17 squad for 2021 and 2022.
She was eventually called up to the Republic of Ireland Women's U-17 squad in 2022 and has since been called into the U19 national squad.
Alongside her sister Jodie, Keri was a part of the 20-player squad by Dave Connell ahead of the historic European Championship finals campaign last summer.
The Girls in Green qualified for the tournament after topping Group A2 in Round 2 of qualifying following victories over Iceland, Austria and Croatia.
The tournament was played in three cities in Lithuania - Jonava, Kaunas, and Marijampole, with the side playing Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
