In pictures: Bonagee United toast successful underage season

Bonagee United held its annual schoolboys presentation function at The Clanree Hotel on Thursday evening.

With around 400 in attendance, it was a bumper event to mark another successful season, which saw Bonagee United play the club’s first competitive game at Old Foundry Park, their new facility at Knockbrack.

The popular Bonagee United Saturday Morning Academy players and coaches were honoured with players from U6-U10 all receiving medals to honour their participation.

Individual awards were presented for each of the underage schoolboys league teams with top goalscorer, players player of the year and player of the year awards handed out.

Chris McNulty acted as the MC for the function while the club coaches and Bonagee United Chairman Niall Callaghan conducted the presentations. 

A special presentation was made by the club’s children’s officer, Carlyn Maguire, to honour the contributions of Luke Doherty and Daniel Doherty to the academy.
