Inishowen Junior League team who played in the Oscar Traynor cup last season
The Inishowen Junior League starts their Oscar Traynor Trophy 2024/'25 campaign this Saturday against the Donegal Junior League side at Maginn Park with the side naming a panel across five clubs.
Last season saw John Francis Doogan's team advance with a 4-3 aggregate win over the Inishowen men.
Going into the second leg trailing 3-2 on aggregate, Diarmaid O’Brien’s men battled hard in search of the required goal to take the game to extra time but the Donegal League outfit defended superbly to achieve victory over the two legs.
Seven players from the Cockhill Celtic, who are the reigning FAI Junior cup have made the panel and will no doubt bring plenty of experience to the side.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm this Saturday.
