Sarah Colhoun continues to shine for Derry City U-17s after move from Drumbar

Derry City player and Donegal native Sarah Colhoun

Former Drumbar United player and current Derry City FC Sarah Colhoun is one month into her time at the Brandywell and already has found her feet with the Candystripes with three goals to her name.

Colhoun first showcased her abilities during the Foyle Cup, impressing the Derry City coaching team with her powerful performances. Once her season with Drumbar concluded, the club moved swiftly to bring her into their setup.

A versatile player with a sharp footballing mind, Colhoun is comfortable playing both in midfield and the forward line. She has already made an immediate impact, contributing goals and assists in her early appearances for the Academy.

Derry City’s coaching staff have expressed their confidence in her abilities, believing she will continue to excel and be a key player throughout the season.

Alicia Domanska from Raphoe Town follows Colhoun to Derry City adding to the Donegal presence at the club with the new signing joining last week.
