Jack Keaney in action for Drogheda United
Jack Keaney’s departure from Drogheda United has been confirmed.
The Donegal Town man has left Weavers Park after one season.
Keaney played 28 times in all competition in 2024, scoring one goal, but he found game time limited in the latter part of the season.
The 25-year-old was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win over Derry City in the FAI Cup final and also in the 3-1 victory against Bray Wanderers in the promotion-relegation play-off final.
Keaney previously played for Sligo Rovers and UCD and is one of several players to leave Drogheda, who will operate on a full-time basis for the 2025 season.
