Letterkenny’s Jason Ashmore was part of the Harding FC team that took on Blackforge FC, who were armed with Conor McGregor in their ranks.
McGregor, 36, is a former UFC Featherweight Championship title holder and also won the UFC Lightweight Championship.
Ashmore, 34, is a former Bonagee United striker and lined out at centre-forward in the UCFL/AUL Premier Division clash at Ringsend Park.

McGregor has not fought since breaking his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021 but lined out on the left-wing for his pub's football team. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ashmore and his Harding FC will be in Donegal next week, having drawn Donegal League Premier Division champions Fanad United in the fifth round of the FAI Junior Cup. At the same stage of the competition last season, Harding were beaten 3-1 away to Buncrana Hearts.
